Coaxial helicopters is slowly becoming an alternative to traditional designs. A German helicopter manufacturer Aerotec incorporates the coaxial design to its light helicopters.
Coaxial design has its advantages: The engine power is only channel to generating lift instead of powering a tail rotor that does not generate any lift. It is also quieter.
